January was great, but February was even better. I am happy to say that Eating New Jersey has been off to a great start thus far in 2019. Despite scaling back and putting “Photo of the Day” on hold (it resumes tomorrow), we managed to have our busiest two months ever. Much of that has to do with Facebook, as links to articles/reviews past and present were shared to enthusiastic audiences. However, more recently, a couple of businesses themselves shared the reviews I wrote of them. From there it exploded. While I don’t write for that reason, I love nothing more than when a restaurant and their owner and/or other staff reach out to send thanks. I do not write puff pieces here, so if I am awarding 4.5 stars or higher it is for a good reason.

Many thanks to Himalayan Curry and Grill for saying it was “an honor” to be written about, as well as the Revere Tavern whose owner reached out with a wonderful message (they are even printing and framing my review for display). Our server from that evening also reached out to say thank you. Not only was our dining experience there phenomenal, but so were the days that followed.
This blog is really just a hobby for me. I pay a small fee to host it, but spend zero dollars on advertising. I’d say nearly 6,000 people finding their way here in just a matter of a couple weeks is pretty good! Thanks for your readership!
[…] we passed 10,000 views on this blog for March. That is our busiest month ever, which follows the previous two months which were also record-setters. We hope to keep climbing! Thank you everyone for your readership. […]
