A Substitute for Chimichurri

When one thinks of eating a steak in summertime, a chimichurri may come to mind. But if you are like me and dislike oregano, then that would simply be out of the question. So, when I’m feeling like a light sauce to put on my steak, I use a persillade instead. The classic French sauce consists of fresh parsley, garlic, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. This combination is both refreshing and packed with flavor. You will keep coming back for more…and may even put some on your fries.
