Chicken and Waffles with a Kick

Chicken and Waffles is just about the easiest meal you can put together. If you’re looking for something a little “healthier”, you can even bake the chicken (and use breast meat) instead of frying it like I did. While not as exciting, just wait until you pour a Sriracha-Maple glaze over the top. Yes, you heard that correctly. Take the amount of maple syrup you are using and add the amount of Sriracha you need to get to the spice level of your choosing. I like hot, so mine was roughly 60-40 maple. Heat it in a saucepan until blended together with a whisk and warm. It added quite a kick along with a delicious sweetness. If you have a waffle maker, even better, but we just used Eggos here. Add bacon crumbles to finish it off because why the hell not?
