It was great being back in New Hope for a couple of days and actually getting to spend some time inside a bar/restaurant. We hit up our favorite dive in the world, John and Peter’s, prior to having an excellent dinner at The Salt House. While we started outside, the weather was just too hot at that time of day, so we moved inside to the bar area. John and Peter’s was taking safety of customers very seriously, including installing plexiglass shields after every two bar stools, and having certain tables downstairs roped off. The crowd inside was a small one and our masked bartender, whose name I cannot remember but who started just the other day, was outstanding. It was a fun way to kick off our little trip. Of course, there were several rounds of drinks and a basket of the crispiest tater tots you could ever want.
