It was a frigid morning last month when Will, his brother, and myself headed to Top Golf, a driving range in Edison. It’s the first time I’ve ever done anything even remotely close to “real” golf. They have targets which if you hit give you a score on a computer screen in your booth. For a novice going up against two people who had played there before, I won two out of the three matches we played. I never liked golf, but this was incredibly fun (and the workers there were so friendly that it really added to the experience). Something about the brutal temperature made it more enjoyable. They have a restaurant and three full-service bars on the premises. I was tempted with a Mimosa at 9:30 AM but the cold air made me forego that for some coffee. I cannot wait to go back.
