
We had some friends and family over on the 4th of July for a small barbecue. One of our guests was vegetarian and brought her own veggie burgers. Though not vegan, she does not eat cheese either, but instead requested mayo on her burger. I asked if she liked Asian flavor and trusted me with making her a special sauce instead. She agreed, and I quickly whisked together some mayo and Lao Gan Ma chili crisp. She loved it so much, and everyone else saw this and wanted to try. I made more and it ended up not only on everyone’s burgers, but also hot dogs as well. Seriously, give it a try!
