
Whether over pasta as a meal, or with a bunch of toothpicks as an appetizer, do not forget about the incredibly easy Artichoke Francaise this summer. It is a dish that takes less than 20 minutes to prepare from start to finish. Simply dredge halved artichoke hearts in seasoned flour, sauté in butter and olive oil until golden brown, remove, add chicken stock, lemon juice, and white wine (or dry vermouth in this case), and add the artichokes back in after the sauce starts to thicken. A tart and delightful snack on a summer night.
