European Homemade Provisions

We were passing through East Brunswick and saw a small market on the side of the road named European Homemade Provisions. It looked like a charming retro place from the outside (dates back to the 1950’s as it turned out), and the interior was the same. Smoked meats, cheeses, pierogies, and any prepared European food you could think of. With a large Polish population nearby (especially in South River), I am sure this store is hopping most days.

While we ended up with only a couple of baked goods and a Christmas ornament, I enjoyed just walking around. It has been a long time since I’ve been to a business that gave off such “old world” vibes. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely return again.
