Outdoor Dining at 35 Degrees

No, not at a restaurant, but in our friend Walter’s back yard. It was actually our turn to host, but since his screenhouse made for better social distancing and ventilation, we brought the party over to him on Saturday night. Justin, my mom, and I brought an assortment of apps and cheeses. There was also plenty of wine. But the highlights of this post include the incredible ambiance rather than the food. Temperatures that night dipped below 35 degrees, but a combination of candles and a fireplace kept it nice and toasty. There were actually 44 candles (that I counted) inside the screenhouse, plus dozens more outside. A beautiful set-up, as always!
