First Time Eating Indoors Since March

There was a martini for me, of course.

Except for a brief bar visit in Pennsylvania in July, this past week, we ate indoors for the first time since March. The place? Nonna’s Citi Cucina in Englishtown. Admittedly, the strangest part of the evening was driving to the restaurant. “We haven’t done this in a while.” But once we were seated, it was like no time passed at all. Check out pictures from our excellent dinner below.

I still maintain that Nonna’s has the best bread and pre-meal accouterments of any place I’ve been to.
Our appetizer was the homemade burrata with “The Works”, which included roasted red peppers, tomatoes, and prosciutto.
Mom had shrimp and risotto.
Justin had pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe.
I had Veal Piccata. It was sliced paper-thin and cooked perfectly.
