Saying a place has the “best wings” is like saying “best burger” or best anything. It is a bombastic statement that will likely cause much argument. However, I need to make a case for these babies from Milano’s in Perth Amboy. The pizza is already so good that we drive about 90 minutes round-trip once or twice a month. A few visits ago, we added an order of wings. We have gotten them ever since. Rather than coat them in sauce, the spice is instead laced into the coating. This allows it to retain its crispness even after it takes a while before we get around to eating them (five minutes in the air fryer to reheat restores them to good as new). Oh, and they are also spicy as hell.
