Aside from cooking up a storm, I have also been baking more and trying new things. For this, I used a standard cornbread recipe but spiced it up with some diced green chili and cheddar cheese. The peppers were previously sauteed in butter to make sure they would be fully cooked. I was more than satisfied with the end result. While some bites were hotter than others, the overall spice level was not overpowering.
