A trio of photos for you today. First: St. Patrick’s Day went off without a hitch for us because I was planning on being home anyway making Shepherd’s Pie. There it is below, with a horseradish-cheddar topping, a side of mom’s Irish Soda Bread, and asparagus just because they are green.
And as much as I wanted to make a “Quarantini” (with gin, of course), I thought a Jameson Old Fashioned would be more appropriate. While not traditional, this cocktail is exceptionally smooth with the right amount of simple syrup and bitters.
Lastly, on Sunday, we had mom’s “Rueben Stromboli”. Delicious!
