With temperatures plummeting in my home state of New Jersey, it’s time to add some older posts from a warmer climate into the Travel Guide. We’re talking about Dallas, Texas. I visited there last year with Will who was on a business trip. The history guy in me absolutely loved the opportunity to see Dealey Plaza, the site of John F. Kennedy’s assassination, but I was blown away with how good the food actually was. I had been to San Antonio a full eight years prior, and remembered eating well there too. I guess they just know how to cook in the Lone Star State. There was great Mexican food, barbecue, and oh yes, margaritas a plenty. Stay tuned over the next few days for the eight restaurant reviews I’ll be bringing over, as well as some general travel tips and experiences.
